Blissful one-sidedness
The triptych was inspired by an astronomical observation that we always see the same side of the moon since the self-rotating speed of the moon is the same as the speed it moves around the earth. Seeing the moon again and again, I was fascinated by the secret face of this one-sided circle and saw a scene of blissfulness when I came closer to its surface. Blissfulness is a devoted attitude to embrace the prosperous future, which gets rectified, optimised and improved in a continuous progression toward perfection. It is a contented state of mind and a petal pathway to the utopian promised land.
